Sarah Menasce (she/her) is a first-generation Colombian-American director, producer, and photographer whose work moves fluidly between the intimate rigor of vérité documentary and the bold, dreamlike worlds of music videos and fine art photography. Equally adept at crafting emotionally resonant, high-quality documentary storytelling and striking, psychedelic, color-saturated visuals, her work pulses with both human depth and inventive energy.
Based in Miami, she studied fine art and film at the Rhode Island School of Design and NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her portfolio spans short-form documentaries, narrative commercials, music videos, and documentary-style branded content—always rooted in storytelling that feels personal, present, and visually compelling.
Her recent work includes La Mariachi (2023) and STRIPES (2024), a haunting, emotionally layered exploration of memory, intimacy, and youthful vulnerability. She is currently in post-production on La Pintura (2025), a surreal psychological short film that draws on her eye for vivid, emotionally charged imagery to create an unsettling yet poetic portrait of the mind.
